Abstract/Description: Image shows view of the Mary M. Cain residence, located on Via del Monte on lot 4, block 1615, tract 6884 in Malaga Cove. Image shows partial view of façade of the two-story, eleven-room stucco house with tile roof, chimney and attached garage. Above arched entrance door is a curved balcony with balustrade overlooking the front yard with stone walkways. Wrought-iron grill covers window to right of front door. Balcony with wrought-iron grill and external curtains visible at upper right. Palos Verdes Homes building permit card lists Harry E. Werner as architect, with Fred C. Snell as contractor. (Inscriptions on photographs state Snell was the architect, however.)
