Abstract/Description: Image shows the patio entrance of the Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. residence, located on Rosita Place on lot 4, block 1600, tract 6885 (later resubdivided as lot 2, block 2 tract 10674) in Malaga Cove. A stone stairway, leading to a eucalyptus tree, is visible through a stonework arch. The Spanish-style house has nine main rooms forming one large wing fronting the sea, with a large walled patio at the rear. The house was demolished in 1971 due to bluff erosion.
