Abstract/Description: Image shows view of the Mr. and Mrs. J. Boyd Comstock residence, located on Via Somonte, on lot 18, block 1516, tract 6884 in Malaga Cove. View shows upstairs balcony and wrought-iron railing along the garage, above the front entrance to the two-story, seven-room stucco house with tile roof and garage. Boyd Comstock was a well known tract coach at the University of Southern California. The house received Palos Verdes Art Jury honorable mention award for Best Architecture of 1927. Visible in background at right is the Schoolcraft residence, located at 749 Via Somonte.
