Abstract/Description: Image shows view looking south with four riders on horseback along unpaved street [Palos Verdes Blvd.?] at the "Puerta del Norte" (north entrance) garden area, designed by the Olmsted Brothers. The riders are identified, left to right, as Howard Harris Towle (involved in the development of the Palos Verdes Project), his wife Gladys Towle, Reba Willis (manager of La Venta Inn), and George Bruner. A small black Scottish terrier dog is standing between the riders, and the Gardner Building is visible in the background at left.
