Abstract/Description: Image shows view of the George and Florence Gibbs residence, located on Via Campesina on lot 9, block 1715, tract 6885 in Malaga Cove. View shows interior of living room with fireplace, bear rug, paisley-covered sofa, area rug and desk. A portrait of a boy reading hangs over mantle. The two-story, six-room Spanish-style stucco house has tile roof, chimney and attached two-car garage. George Gibbs Jr. (1875-1950) was a landscape architect with the Olmsted Brothers from 1905-1914 and 1923-1933.
