Abstract/Description: Image shows display of plants at Palos Verdes first flower show, which was held in the auditorium of Malaga Cove School. As described in the Palos Verdes Bulletin (December 1927, p. 1) "Trees and flowering shrubs in tubs and pots were grouped in bays down each side of the auditorium and upon the stage, while flowers and special exhibitions occupied tables down the center. The arrangement was unique in that each group or bay was devoted to plants suitable to certain uses or locations, and each specimen bore a large label giving both the scientific and common names."
