Abstract/Description: Image shows group portrait of the cast from the operetta, "On Plymouth Rock" performed for Thanksgiving on the auditorium stage of Malaga Cove School on November 23, 1926. The children are dressed in costume, gathered on a stage decorated with eucalyptus branches. A grand piano is visible in foreground at right. The production was Palos Verdes School's first public entertainment, under the direction of Miss Genevieve Kendall, and told the story of John Alden (played by Harry Martin) and Priscilla Mullins (Frances Cheney.) Captain Miles Standish was played by Ellis Yarnell.
