| Abstract/Description: | Image shows group of six children from the school play, "Tommy Murphy's Christmas," performed for Christmas on the auditorium stage of Malaga Cove School on December 17, 1927. The children are dressed in costumes, there boys in coveralls and three girls in short checkered dresses with matching bloomers. The production was given to start a fund to buy pictures for the Malaga Cove School. Scenery was painted by Ellis Yarnell, Sr., and the part of Santa Claus was played by James Woosley, Chief of Police of Palos Verdes Estates from 1924-1942. | |
