| Abstract/Description: | Image shows interior view of the auditorium at Malaga Cove School, located at 385 Via Almar in Malaga Cove, with the second annual Colonial Ball, hosted by the Palos Verdes Woman's Club. Visible are several couples, dressed in eighteenth-century costumes, dancing down the center of the room with other costumed guests sitting in chairs along the walls. Approximately 140 guests attended the ball in the auditorium, which was decorated with candlelight and cut tree branches. Malaga Cove School, designed by the architectural film of Allison & Allison, opened on April 5, 1926. | |
