| Abstract/Description: | Image shows view from Paseo del Campo between the tenth green and eleventh tee, showing the clubhouse in distance at left, and at right pump house #4 and tractor shed. The two-story, eleven-room Spanish-style clubhouse is located at 3301 Via Campesina in Val Monte. Architect C. E. Howard designed both the clubhouse and pump house. The golf course, which was designed by George C. Thomas Jr. and built by William P. Bell, opened on November 15, 1924, with landscaping designed by the Olmsted brothers. | |
