Abstract/Description: | 'When my dad (Elmer Grimes) retired he bought this tractor to ride among the radio wires because the weed abatement people didn't want to do it. He grew a crop of oat hay on the property to feed his horses. The tractor originally belonged to August Peukert. He was the farmer that raised garbanzo beans where Oceanfront Estates is now.' |
