Abstract/Description: 'This is the amphitheater at Chadwick. They tented the area to protect the instruments. One year we took off our aprons and placed them on the instruments to protect them from the sun. One year we had the opposite. The president of the Board of Directors of the LA Phil, Joseph C. LaBonta who lived on the Peninsula, was sent by his wife, a member of the Peninsula Committee, to get paper towels to dry the seats. He was a good sport. Location: Chadwick School.'
