Abstract/Description: | 'There are four of us who go out with the Music Mobile. We pull all the instruments out and set them up, usually in the school's multi-purpose room. We have to use a plywood replica of a bass because the bass is too big to fit in the van. We carry ten violins, a viola, a cello, a piccolo, a flute, a clarinette, an oboe, a french horn, a tuba, a trombon, both a bass and snaire drum, cymbols, and multiple precussion instruments. We carry all the banners and a boom box. We play what each instrument sounds like. Pictured from left to right: Joanne Austin, Dorothy Lay, Verna Balch and Barbara Hart.' | |
