A long balcony with several potted plants overlooks grassy area with newly planted landscaping and stone walkways. A sitting area is located beneath the balcony. The arched coffered front door is at right, and a pair of french doors off living room are visible at far right. Charles H. Cheney (1884-1943) was city planner for the Palos Verdes Project and served on the Palos Verdes Art Jury from its inception in 1922 through 1940. The home was sold in 1934, and later owned by Horton Walkins (nd.) |
