Abstract/Description: | Image shows interior view of the Adrian E. and Winifred W. Cameron residence (also given the address of 872 Rincon Lane), located on Via del Monte on lots 16 and 17, block 1631, tract 7330 in Montemalaga. View shows detail of dining room, with small two-door buffet placed in arched alcove beneath two built-in shelves. Visible on the shelves are a dinner bell, a silver caddy, pair of salt and pepper shakers, a cast metal [?] vase, and figurine of a drummer boy. A silver bowl with fruit flanked by pair of silver candlesticks on a piece of folded cloth rest on the buffet. Adrian E. Cameron (1895-1967) was Director of the Palos Verdes Homes Association (ca. 1927.) This house received the Palos Verdes Art Jury's Certificate of Honor for the most notable residence architecture of 1924. |
