First Woman President of the Torrance Jaycees

'I joined the Jaycees in 1985, right after the 1984 United States Supreme Court decision to allow women to the organization.  In 1987, I became the first woman president of the Torrance Jaycees. The original title was the United State Junior Chamber of Commerce.  The organization provides leadership and management training and skills for people between the ages of 18 and 40.  The Torrance Jaycees was established in 1948.
