Harriet Tubman jigsaw puzzle completed to honor Juneteenth

Abstract/Description: 'In this COVID-19 year, going to a Juneteenth rally seemed inconsistent with social distancing. So we decided to do a jigsaw puzzle honoring Harriet Tubman, the Abolitionist heroine who guided a great many slaves to their freedom on the Underground Railroad. The puzzle is a reproduction of a painting by renowned Black artist William H. Johnson that hangs in the Smithsonian. We completed the puzzle on June 19th 2020, which marked the 155th anniversary of the original Juneteenth, when the emancipation of enslaved people in the U.S. was finally completed. Location: Rolling Hills Estates'
