CollectionCorona Virus Pandemic 2020 CollectionDate2020-06-18CreatorPalos Verdes Local History Center, Palos Verdes Library DistrictDescriptionLos Angeles County issued the protocol for libraries to resume "curbside" service on June 1 and PVLD started a few days later. Patrons aren't allowed in the building, so we bring the materials they request to their cars, dropping them in the car trunk or on the seat. Everyone has to wear a mask and we make it is as touchless as possible. After materials are returned they sit in quarantine for at least four days before being reshelved or checked out again.
