We have been involved in a number of activities planned to commemorate the Suffrage Centennial, but the Coronavirus pandemic overturned many of those plans. With large gatherings banned, rallies, parades and marches became non-starters, so we decided to do a feminist-themed jigsaw puzzle to honor the Centennial, completing it on August 18th. The puzzle, titled "Well Behaved Women Seldom Make History," depicts a "Herstory" museum featuring portraits of a number of celebrated and accomplished women throughout history. George is wearing the "Votes for Women" t-shirt he planned to wear in the Suffrage Centennial Commemoration march that the PV Library District and other PV community organizations had planned to conduct on March 13th 2020 - the march was one of the earliest events to have to be cancelled due to COVID-19.
