Throughout 2019 and into 2020, the space was used by groups writing postcards to encourage people to participate in the 2020 November presidential election. This was the last time I saw the postcard writers in the library before the shutdown. After a year of "pandemic living" seeing people seated so close together and not wearing masks seems like a lifetime ago.
