View looking northwest shows entrance at back of the two-story, fourteen-room stucco house with tile roof, two chimneys and attached two-car garage. A wrought-iron lamp is suspended above the shell-shaped recessed doorway, with a stone walkway flanked by lush landscaping. The house was later owned by Mr. W.W. Whitecotton and at one point was part of Chadwick School property.
