View shows detail of tile terrarce along north side of the house looking east, with tile roof, small balcony over arched entranceway, external window curtains, and newly planted landscaping. Colored tile set into front steps leading to recessed door. Gardens were designed by the Olmsted brothers. According to the building permit card #129, the large Spanish style two-story home with attached three-car garage was built by the Palos Verdes Home Association as Project House #7. It is featured in the Palos Verdes Bulletin of April 1928, which includes a detailed plan of the house.
