Gardens were designed by the Olmsted brothers. According to the building permit card #129, the large Spanish style two-story home with attached three-car garage was built by the Palos Verdes Home Association as Project House #7. It is featured in the Palos Verdes Bulletin of April 1928, which includes a detailed plan of the house.
