The Charles F. Seabrook Elementary School was built in 1922 and began operating in 1923. The school was named after Charles F. Seabrook, often referred to as the "Henry Ford of Agriculture." Seabrook owned and operated Seabrook Farms, a frozen-foods packaging company, that at one time produced frozen vegetables for General Food.
