CollectionMarinelandDateca 1965DescriptionImage shows view of single-sided luncheon menu for the Galley West restaurant located at Marineland. The original restaurant at Marineland opened in 1954. In 1965, the restaurant came under the management of Host International, where it was renamed Galley West and remoldeled with a theme featuring Cabrillo and the arrival of the first Europeans to the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Wood paneling and remnants of old world ships replaced the original fish net and shell decorations. Roland Terry, a design firm from Seattle, was charged with renovating the restaurant.LanguageengPhoto Size11.75x8.5in.Photo Format1 lamenated cardstockHeld ByPalos Verdes Library District.
