Description
Oversize softcover booklet bound with staples with designs on front and back cover for Marineland restaurant menu. The original restaurant at Marineland opened in 1954. In 1965, the restaurant came under the management of Host International, where it was renamed Galley West and remoldeled with a theme featuring Cabrillo and the arrival of the first Europeans to the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Wood paneling and remnants of old world ships replaced the original fish net and shell decorations. Roland Terry, a design firm from Seattle, was charged with renovating the restaurant.
