The original permit for it was abandoned in January, 1930 at the beginning of the Great Depression. This photo was taken from a guest house then called the Villetta. The name of "Villa Narcissa" was applied to it by Mr. & Mrs. Kelvin Cox Vanderlip in the 1950s." and signed John M. Vanderlip.
