Identified from left to right Sachiko Josephine and Fusako Anna Ashimoto. Originally from Tottori Prefecture in Japan, the Ashimoto family was farming on the Palos Verdes Peninsula by 1930. In February 1942, the Ashimoto family moved from the coast to Strathmore in Tulare, County. By July 1942, the family was interned in Poston, Arizona.
