The tri-level Peninsula Center Library, which was designed and furnished by architects A. Quincy Jones and Frederick Emmons, opened on July 17, 1967. The building occupied 64,600 sq. ft of floor space with library services on the main floor and parking facilities both above and below the main library floor.
