He immigrated to the U. S. arriving in Vancouver, Canada on Nov. 30, 1905. Yutaro married Fumeno Kadonaga (b. Feb. 28, 1872) in 1891. She joined Yutaro in 1914. Yutaro and Fumeno had three children: Yasukichi, their first child was born in Japan (Oct. 17, 1899), and Yoshito (b. Feb. 10, 1914) and Mitsuko (b. June 11, 1920 ) were both born in Los Angeles County. Yutaro and his two sons were truck farmers and laborers. Yutaro was interned in the Poston Relocation Center with Yoshito and Yasukichi's family.
