Brochure interior reads: "The stores and shops at Palos Verdes Estates are being housed in modern buildings around open squares, but the effect, when these arcaded plazas are completed, will remind one of the centuries-old towns of picturesque Spain. The wisdom of the management in respect to restrictions and zoning will become increasingly apparent with the passing years. Only sufficient property has been zoned for business to provide for the maximum population, when the Estates are fully populated.
