DescriptionThis collection includes a photo album, bulletins and a brochure on the Hollywood Riviera area of Torrance collected by Gertrude (nee Robinson) Van Every. Ms. Van Every sold property in beach side community of Hollywood Riviera in the 1930s. The Hollywood Riviera development, just north of Palos Verdes Estate,s was created by founder and developer Clifford Reid in 1927. It was landscaped by nationally known architect and landscape architect, Mark Daniels.
