Houts), and the architectural firm and construction company. Pallets of bricks are visible in the foreground with two construction workers visible in the distance. The 6,000 square-foot single-story brick facility was designed by architects Black, Pagliuso, Kikuchi and O'Dowd and featured four units of firefighting vehicles, sleeping quarters for 16 firefighters, and a combination kitchen-recreation area. Station 106 was the first fire station in the City of Rolling Hills Estates and the fourth on the Peninsula.
